Hi, With this being a new message I'm just curious where people are from, where you heard about the message board and anything else you would be willing to share. Do you own, breed, show horses? Married, children? Etc. I hope you come for another visit soon. Thanks, Lori

Hi, I'm Rhea from Clovis Ca. I've been watching the foal cam and having fun with it. I read your post about the pregger rescue mare and your concern about putting on weight and having a healthy foal and mom to be. I wanted to direct you to CBER, a rescue group in Wa. I recently adopted a gorgeous filly and had her shipped here. They are a great group with a huge range in horses to be rescued from slaughter. I wanted to direct you there because we have MANY rescue preggers and there is an immense amount of info on the board regarding feeding these starved mares along with lots of other great tips. Approx 500+ members so there is so many great discussions and ideas. Here's the web: www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org go to the "feedlot page" then click on the CBER message board link. Good luck with new foal coming, may it be a safe and healthy delivery. Also, thank you for taking in a rescue. It is extremely rewarding and in all my years having horses, these ones are particulaly appreciative of their new mom/dad. Rhea email for questions: rhearogers@msn.com
