Here are some new photos of Sissy, including a bag picture: This first one, where she has spots on her back, that is where she had rain scald, for some reason when she rolls and gets dirty, the dirt seems to stick there. Other side: And a picture of her bag.... Not sure if she is going to make it until June... just have to keep an eye on her.

I think it is like extra oily there or something. She need another good bath. Thank you for the pat on the back. No, I don't think she will make it until June either. I separated Sissy from Cookie last night, just in case we come home to a surprise. I hope to have her in a stall, but without knowing her history all I can do is watch and hope we see the signs but she could be like some of those other mares that progress really quickly and surprise.... there's a baby.

Hi, I thought I check in on you and your mare, I am sure she looks even better now. I was just wondering, with time passing if she is a Mum already? Would love to hear how you are doing with her, and maybe the new baby. Take care, Emma

Hi Emma, No baby yet.... The lady I got her from said she was with the stallion the last two weeks of July and first week of August (if she remembers correctly). That makes the earliest she could foal and the foal have a good survival rate (320 days) at May 31st. I think she looks much closer to me, so I don't know if maybe she got her dates mixed up. I am just keeping an eye on her and hoping she gives me signs.... I would really like to see the little fellow be born. Will keep updating with photo's and details. Thank you for checking!
