12/8/06-Weekend trip to Leavenworth

Well, we're home from our trip. We took Friday off and left Friday. We had such a wonderful time, we always want to stay just a little longer. This has become an annual family holiday tradition that we all really look forward to.


I have some pictures I took that I thought I would share with you. We stopped and visited with my sister and brother-in-law on the way over, so we arrived after dark. This is the view when we woke up this morning...... and then it started snowing. It was perfect!

Then, the kids went sledding and had a blast! We almost had to drag them kicking and screaming back to the condo. (Can you blame them?)

Great pictures. I want to go sledding too. The walk up the hill is always the worse. LOL

What a wonderful weekend that must have been. That is what I would call making memories for your children and something they will always remember. It looks like a beautiful place.

Oh Lori, what wonderful pictures! It's just beautiful there, and the Christmas lights, wow! Looks really magical! I want to go sledding now, lol.....oh to be a kid again!

:oLori, those are some great pictures!!! I love the sledding pics and I have to admit, the frown pic is cute!! I always am a sucker for the frowns. Looks like you guys had a great time and what a beautiful place!!! I have only been through that area in the middle of summer and it didn't look nearly as nice!!
